Alice brought her kids in for a surprise Xmas shoot with an excellent red bin! (we did Alice & Paul's wedding)
We changed the sign on the studio & it has only been graffittied once so far!
Kylie & Chris came to Little Mulgrave for a family portrait (we did their wedding too)
and finally we did Lisa & Thomas's family portrait at a beautiful private garden in Koah (it was definitely the month for our wedding customers to come back!)

and in November...

We did the Gordonvale School Formal
so glad these were timed just right!
got some flowers in the new bed, more to come....	eagerly watched on by the natives...
We did the TAFE Graduation
Gracie & Summer came out  to Little Mulgrave for a portrait
hmm.....got those dresses nice & dirty!	but we had good fun!
and we did the St Augustine's speech night

and in October

Dominic struggled to walk the 19km goldsfield track from Goldsborough to Babinda Boulders This is the famous and rarely seen East Mulgrave River He was rewarded at his destination with this view of a Cassowary in the Boulders carpark
We photographed the Chapmans up at Palm Cove as a present for the grandparents
We got our photo of Aaron Grabau's family on the cover of the Cairns Parenting Companion
...and also did a bit of a chaotic Xmas shoot in the studio very noisy but great fun!
We went down to Maroochydore to photograph the AFL Masters competition     the calm before the storm...
Lisa on the roof again (not quite as high as Cazaly's but harder to reach!)
the result! the action was fast and furious as usual...
Only one lot of broken ribs, a couple of dislocated shoulders, a plethora of bent & stretched hammies, ankles & knees and someone stole ground 2's defibrillator!

We tried to get a photo of all the horses to blow up for the walls at Mareeba....
they all had a great time running round the house & paddocks but this was the only one of them all together so we'll have to try again...

We went out to Longreach to shoot a Touch Carnival  via the Qantas Museum & the Stockman's Hall of Fame
The competition was fast & furious
These Corellas were in the tree by our motel room
	and we even saw the elusive Rufous Crowned Emu-Wren at Bladensburg Park - it weighs in at a hefty 5 grams!

and in July...

Will & Aiden came into the studio	Happy Chappy!
The Holts met us for a portrait on the beach
We took a well earned break with some friends on Magnetic Island
Some people will do anything to get out of hiking!
Water reflections with the 400 F4 DO Lens - good new toy!	John doing a pretty good Bono impersonation.
	We spent half an hour looking up at the trees & this fellow was looking at us from the ground!

A new member to the Catalan family came out to Little Mulgrave	photography is a balancing act...
	between tickling and giggling... we take a few shots...
then your whole world turns upside down
We did the Tully deb ball	where the ladies looked spectacular as usual
and the brand new hall was magnificent
Cody was a perfect model in the studio	though he wasn't quite sure what we were talking about, he just went along with us!
it's tricky getting all 4 in the photo ...	aha! cracked it!
Mason came into the studio for a his first photo shoot	woops mum I'm sinking...
now we're talking
Amelia enjoyed her day at the beach	the hat stayed on for oh at lease 30 seconds

The McDowells came out to Little Mulgrave for a portrait     we are liking the new iron backdrop very much!
	Congratulations to Kym & George! A new member to the family came into the studio. She is just the spitting image of her sister!
Presenting .... The 2011 Atherton Debutantes the today show is encroaching on the footy show...
back to sport & netball this time	where planking is fun not dangerous!
but the footy show still has some fans
then to some contact sport for the 18 Years Rugby
and the 23rd Australian Baseball Championships

	Lisa got some much needed instruction  from Shane Davidson World Cup Showjumper (and is pleased to say that it has since paid off with a clear round & a BLUE ribbon at her last outing)
and Carla came in for a studio portrait (thanks for the loan of the rattle Jaypee - it came in very handy!)

Dominic went to Darwin to shoot the cover for the Local Directory	Amazingly he got blue skies, jammy
they ran & ran & jumped & played for 2 hours in the baking heat - good job well done!	wonder which one will make the cover..

Ringo came in for an old fashioned sepia toned shot - he looks quite regal!

	We dodged rainstorms for a photo shoot at Little Mulgrave - this forced us to clean up after the cyclone
The powerlines went underground - hurrahhhhh!!

	& finally if a little tardy.... A Big Thank You to the Larsens we finally got your oldy worldy tin hung up as a wet weather backdrop in the shed .....another stunning photo of me, ho hum why does Dominic never ask me to pose when I have done my hair & makeup!! he always seems to get me when I've just done 2 hours work on the horses...

January is usually a time when we can have a well earned rest after a very busy year
& get to do some odd jobs around the place....

eagerly watched by the locals.... we put the frog pond in at Mareeba, to do our bit for the environment
we found a brilliant modern way to display your photos these are called Ice Blocks & stand alone on a flat surface easy to keep clean & they look really cool
We cleared some trees from around the house to brighten up some of our outdoor portrait areas around the property DANGER! Man at work...
I think Dominic would secretly like to do this full time.....
We welcomed 9 day old Jessica to the world
and we made up a nice composite for Ainsley who wasn't much older   what a little star!
and Dominic (secret Rugby Union fanatic) got to photograph the Reds v Crusaders game at Barlow Park (the words pig & mud come to mind...)
